There are often specific projects for which we are looking for donors, for example, more complex operations, in Bali or even abroad.
It is also possible to ‘adopt’ a cleft lip surgery for a specific child. For an amount of 550 EURO, USD 585/850 AUD it is already possible to operate a child with cleft lip or palate. We will keep you informed of the results if you wish so.
Another project is our pre-surgery dental care program. Often there are dental problems on children with cleft lip and palate. Through our pre-surgery dental care program before surgery, they get dental treatment so that they go into operation without dental problems. But also other kids, hosted in our “Rumah Bicara” need to see the dentist, because of issues and dirty teeth.
Current project is the school program for children with hearing problems. They need to go to a particular school in Denpasar, this, however, requires daily transportation by the Kolewa-schoolbus. Most of the kids in this project are from North Bali (Karangasem) and poor families. Our foundation is taking care of school fees, uniforms etc.
Since July 2018 15 children join the school-project. With more personal sponsors we can offer again children a chance to have special education and opportunities.
